Milestone as volunteers give more than 100,000 hours to Lancashire and South Cumbria COVID-19 vaccination programme
Volunteers have collectively donated more than 100,000 hours of their time to support Lancashire and South Cumbria’s COVID-19 vaccination programme – a huge milestone for the region which is helping to protect residents against the virus. 

Work to start on new operating model for UHMBT

At the beginning of this financial year, we set out our intention to have what we called an ‘organisational reset’. This essentially means that we are looking at how we do things to make sure that we are structured in the right way and have the systems and processes in place to deliver the highest levels of safe and quality care to our local communities.

Falls Awareness Week is coming
The Trust’s new ‘Falls Fellowship’ and other teams will be promoting awareness of the danger of falls during national Falls Awareness Week from Monday 20 September to Friday 24 September.
