This week’s edition includes lots of news and updates from across the Trust.
One year on – Anniversary of the COVID-19 Vaccination programme
Tomorrow (8th December) the NHS marks the one year anniversary of the largest vaccination programme in its history. We’d like to celebrate the day by saying a huge thank you to all those that made it possible.
Supporting frontline health care colleagues with mandatory vaccination against Covid-19
On the 9 November, you will be aware that the Government announced that health and social care workers, including volunteers who have face to face contact with service users, will need to provide evidence they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to be deployed. We haven't yet received national guidance on what this will mean for the Trust or individuals, however, we've set up a task and finish group to consider all the options and agree a way forward for our Trust.
Last week to have your say!
We are now entering the last week of our first big conversation, Moving Forward. So far, we’ve heard from colleagues in every care group across the Trust and from nearly every site, but we still want to hear from YOU!
