This week’s edition includes lots of great news and updates from across the Trust.

COVID 19 update
Communicating with you all in a timely and accessible way has never been more important in my eyes. When you have 8,000 colleagues working in different locations and shift patterns and groups of people that don’t have regular access to a computer, it can be tricky!

UHMBT Estates team excels in fight against COVID-19
Over the last six weeks, UHMBT’s Estates Department staff and partner contract staff have been working for up to 12 hours a day, seven days a week to rapidly convert wards into intensive care units, install new systems, oversee numerous ward moves, retain safe water hygiene in closed areas, install protective screens in reception areas and create COVID-19 patient testing areas.

Changes to Radiology service
During the COVID-19 pandemic the Trust is continuing to work hard to keep our staff and patients safe whilst delivering services. The Trust’s Radiology service is endeavouring to continue to provide services however needs to make some minor operational changes in order to do so.
