This week’s edition includes lots of great news and updates from across the Trust.

COVID 19 update

Mike Thomas, Chair, University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust (UHMBT), said: “During such difficult circumstances and when health professionals across the world are working under more pressure than ever before, the outpouring of support, kindness, generosity and well wishes from people all across Morecambe Bay has been truly heart-warming.

New blood pressure units
Sixty-eight new blood pressure units arrived on Friday 10 April which will be used to equip the new COVID-19 wards, one to six, in Medical Unit 1 at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary and the community site in the Lancaster area.
