Care Quality Commission (CQC) update

At the end of April and early May 2021, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) visited the Trust to carry out both an unannounced inspection and a well led review. ​The unannounced inspection visited Emergency and Urgent Care, Maternity Services​ and Surgical Services​. The final report for this inspection was published on Friday 20 August 2021.

Welcome to our new stroke service leads 

As part of the ongoing programme to enhance stroke services in Lancashire and South Cumbria two new stroke leads have now been appointed at UHMBT and a new Clinical Director has been appointed to the Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Stroke and Neurological Delivery Network (ISNDN).  

Third week of the ‘Perfect Month’ exercise

This is the third week of the ‘Perfect Month’ exercise of focused governance improvement work with the Medicine Care Group, supported by GGI.
