This week’s edition includes lots of great news and updates from across the Trust.
COVID 19 update
Did you manage to take part in the one minute’s silence this morning? I did and I found it helpful way to step away and just reflect for a moment – not only to give thanks to NHS staff and other key workers across the country but to also remember those that are no longer with us, including our missed colleague Simon.
Pathology services bulletin
Important updates from the Pathology services in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The bulletin includes guidance for sending samples to Pathology, Blood Sciences update and Microbiology changes to reporting of urine microscopy.
COVID-19 convalescent plasma
NHS Blood and Transplant is looking for colleagues at the Trust to come forward who have recovered from coronavirus (COVID-19) to donate convalescent plasma.
