Just two weeks till the UHMBT Patient Safety Day

As you will be aware we are holding our first Patient Safety Day event on Wednesday 27 April. The event will be held virtually and will be an opportunity for colleagues to come together and hear from a range of external speakers to share experience, learning and insight.

New ADOPs for Medicine and Surgery and Critical Care announced

We are pleased to share that we have now successfully recruited to the Associate Director of Operations (ADOP) roles for our Surgery and Critical Care and Medicine Care Groups.

Manager meeting to find out more about transition to work programme

Would you like the opportunity to host an intern for 3 months at Furness General Hospital? 

DFN Project SEARCH is a transition to work programme for students with a learning disability with ambitions to get 10,000 young adults with learning disabilities and autism into full-time paid jobs over the next decade. All Managers will receive full support and training. These meetings are a chance to find out more about the programme.
