Weekly News 18 January 2022

This week’s edition includes lots of news and updates from across the Trust.

Changes to asymptomatic Covid-19 testing for colleagues

As you may be aware, the Trust strongly encourages all colleagues to take part in COVID-19 asymptomatic testing twice a week to help reduce the spread of the virus and keep colleagues and patients safe.

We have recently received a national instruction that we are no longer able to provide Lateral Flow Tests (LFT) for colleagues.

Moving Forward: Sharing what we've heard from you so far!

The Moving Forward conversation closed in December and we are very grateful that nearly 1,500 people joined in to share their views. This has helped us truly listen and understand what we need to focus on.

Weekly Patient Safety Briefings

As our hospital sites and community services continue to operate under pressure, we wanted to remind you of the weekly patient safety briefing sessions that are taking place throughout January. All colleagues, both clinical and non-clinical, are invited to join the virtual sessions to receive an update on the current pressures and actions we are taking. There is also the opportunity for you to ask any questions you or your teams may have.
