Weekly News 17 March 2020

This week’s edition includes lots of great news and updates from across the Trust.

COVID 19 update
We wanted to thank teams across our hospitals for their hard work at this particularly difficult time. There have been some outstanding examples of caring and compassionate behaviour which has been seen right across our organisation from colleagues which we feel show the best examples of the NHS.

Help with Office 365
The Trust has taken the decision to stand down a large number of corporate meetings, briefing sessions and any non-essential face-to-face gatherings for the next two months. Where possible, we will rearrange these using the latest technology Office 365 offers us (Microsoft Teams) and will communicate these arrangements to colleagues once they have been organised.

Creating a Compassionate, Inclusive and Welcoming Workplace
Sharing information on disability or long-term conditions can feel daunting but there are benefits to sharing this information which include: opening discussions about reasonable adjustments or other workplace support, receiving information about support or positive action initiatives and contributing to a pool of information that will help monitor and meet the diverse needs of colleagues.
