UHMBT staff ‘sleep out’ raises over £2,000 for veterans 

On Saturday 2 April colleagues from the UHMBT Armed Forces Network (AFN) took part in the charity event The Great Tommy Sleep Out to raise awareness of the issues that are affecting veterans across the country. 

UHMBT Patient Safety Day - only 3 weeks to go!

As you will be aware on Wednesday 27 April, we are holding our first Patient Safety Day event. The event will take place virtually over Microsoft Teams and will be an opportunity for colleagues to come together and hear from a range of external speakers to share experience, learning and insight relating to patient safety improvement. 

Our initial response to the Ockenden Report 

Our maternity services team, and the whole Trust, have carefully taken some time to reflect on the contents of the final report of the independent maternity review into Shrewsbury and Telford NHS Trust, led by Donna Ockenden - published on 30 March 2022.
