Update on mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations for healthcare workers

As you know, the Government passed legislation requiring COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of deployment (VCOD) which was due to come in from 1 April 2022. However, yesterday, the Secretary of State has announced that this is being reconsidered.

New Hospitals Programme announces new Colleague Summit events this March

You are warmly invited to join the Lancashire and South Cumbria New Hospitals Programme for the upcoming virtual Colleague Summit events this March. This is a great opportunity for you to find out more about the latest developments with proposals for new hospital facilities for our region and ask questions.

LGBT History Month February 2022

LGBT History Month is celebrated across the NHS to increase the visibility of the entire LGBTQ+ community, as well as their history and experiences, and to demonstrate the actions being taken to ensure a culture of belonging in our organisations. We have come together as partner organisations across Lancashire and South Cumbria to organise a programme of insightful and engaging events here that are designed to be accessible to our colleagues, patients, service users, and citizens.
