Celebrating National Healthcare Estates and Facilities Day 2023

Wednesday 21 June 2023 marks the second National Healthcare Estates and Facilities Day. This is a great opportunity to celebrate the achievements of thousands of staff working in our Estates and Facilities (E&F) teams across Morecambe Bay, and recognise the critical importance of E&F services in the delivery of care to our patients.

Estates and Facilities services are estimated to make up 8% of the NHS workforce, that’s a huge 250,000 people but their work is sometimes overlooked. Understandably, the public perception of the NHS is often focused on medical staff but patient care would be impossible without the army of E&F professionals working alongside them.

We'll be sharing stories, videos and fun facts to celebrate our estates and facilities colleagues across Morecambe Bay.

Use the following hashtag #HealthEFMDay and the Trust Twitter handle @UHMBT to share your stories and photos.
