Take an eco-friendly and hassle-free trip on Lancaster’s Park & Ride service

Did you know Lancaster’s Park & Ride service drops off and picks up right outside Royal Lancaster Infirmary?

It’s also FREE for UHMBT staff!

Using the Park and Ride service is better for the environment and means you can avoid the hassle of searching for a parking space at the RLI.

And if you drive an electric vehicle, you can leave it charging at the Park & Ride car park while you get the bus to the city centre.

Simply park your car in the secure car park just off Junction 34 of the M6 (signed for Park & Ride), and jump on the bus straight to the hospital.

Use your UHMBT ID badge to claim your free journey back to the car park at the end of the day.

The service runs Monday to Saturday, every 20 minutes from 6.05am at Junction 34 with the last bus leaving the RLI at 8.15pm.

If you forget your ID card, you’ll need £1.60 for a return ticket paid on the bus, but this will be refunded if you call at the RLI General Office in Medical Unit 1.
