Here is Aaron Cummins, Chief Executive of UHMBT, sending out a special update and thanking staff, volunteers, charities, health partners, businesses and the public for the “awe-inspiring” support he has witnessed in recent days.
Aaron says he could not be more proud of colleagues at the Trust for the work they are doing in the fight against COVID-19.
He appeals for everyone to continue this great work and to be kind to each other through these incredibly difficult times. He also urges everyone to adhere to the social distancing rules, wash their hands, look out for each other and try to help those more vulnerable than ourselves.
