Marking the 76th birthday of the NHS with a huge thank you to our people

The NHS could not have achieved all it has without the skill and dedication of our people.

On 5 July 2024 the NHS will mark its 76th year, and UHMBT is taking this opportunity to thank our incredible staff - past and present.

To each and every NHS worker and volunteer — thank you for everything you do, every day!

The last year has been challenging but, together we are strengthening our foundations and we are reforming the NHS for the future.

What is Thank You Day? 

Sunday 7 July is the fourth national Thank You Day, led by the Together Coalition. 

Thank You Day is all about taking a moment to come together and say ‘thank you’ to the people who spend their time and energy making our communities great places to live. 

Again, we want to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to our staff – the NHS wouldn't be what it is without you! 

We also want to thank our volunteers who go above and beyond to support our NHS staff to care for our patients.
