Would you like support with the physical effects of cancer treatment?

Residents of North Lancashire and South Cumbria living with cancer can benefit from a free two-hour ‘Look Good Feel Better’ makeup and skincare workshop.

Facilitated by UHMBT's Macmillan Information and Support Service (MCISS) team, Look Good, Feel Better workshops are led by experts from the beauty and wellbeing industry and offer an invaluable opportunity for people undergoing cancer treatment or who have completed cancer treatment in the last 12 months to meet others and be supported in managing the side effects of treatment and changes in their appearance.

People leave empowered, motivated and less isolated shifting the focus away from the challenges of clinical treatment and allowing people to look good and feel better.

When you attend and participate in a workshop, you will receive a beauty bag and products, which are yours to keep.

Workshops are run with a small group of up to 12 participants. CancerCare at Slynedales, are hosting some Lancaster-based workshops.

Booking is essential.
