Vaccination buses are touring Lancashire and South Cumbria offering pop-up flu vaccination clinics to NHS staff and eligible members of the public until the end of March 2025.
You can get a free NHS flu vaccine if you:
- are aged 65 or over (including those who will be 65 by 31 March 2025)
- have certain long-term health conditions
- are pregnant
- live in a care home
- are the main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive a carer's allowance
- live with someone who has a weakened immune system
- Frontline health and social care workers can also get a flu vaccine through their employer.
If you are aged over 18 and are eligible for a free vaccination, you can pop along to any of the sessions - no appointment needed.
The following sessions are taking place at UHMBT sites:

Furness General Hospital (visitors car park) - 13th February, 10am-3pm

Westmorland General Hospital (outside the Urgent Treatment Centre) - 7th March, 10am-4pm

Royal Lancaster Infirmary (next to the Emergency Department) - 23rd February & 13th March, 10am-4pm
