Staff invited to second workshop

Wednesday, 19 April 2017 Staff invited to second workshop

Staff are invited to join the second workshop as part of the Local Evaluation of Morecambe Bay PACS Vanguard on Tuesday 23rd May 2017. Please note this is not a public event.

The purpose of this workshop is to discuss the creation, collection and use of data from across health providers, support services and the community to support a New Care Model.

As before, the workshop will use an Open Space format, which provides an opportunity for participants to suggest topics and questions for discussion around the data – in all shapes and forms – that is being collected across the whole of Better Care Together, and how it might be used to evidence success. An agenda will be circulated in the next few weeks.

This evaluation workshop welcomes clinical and non-clinical staff including consultants, GPs, case managers, community nurses, care navigators, managerial, support staff, local council offers, data people and third sector representatives.

The workshop will take place between 10.00 -15.00 (registration from 9.30) in the Alexandra Building (AXB030), University of Cumbria, Lancaster Campus, Bowerham Road, Lancaster LA1 3JD. The AXB building is number 1 on the attached map and there is a large pay and display car park adjacent to this building. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

These workshops form a key part of the evaluation of the Vanguard, by providing a space for dialogue between the Evaluation Team and the work being done ‘on the ground’ that is shaping the Better Care Together (BCT) programme.
